It all began with a spark when my attention was caught by Ceya's presence during Church activities.
However, such an intense feeling of admiration remained unspoken, as I was called to face various obligations in far-flung places of deployment.
Over the years, I came across Ceya again at an MCGI Bloodletting event, and I finally had the long-awaited opportunity to say hello.
In our subsequent conversations, I revealed my admiration and eventually courted her until I received her sweet “yes.”
With our deepening love and affection, I decided to surprise Ceya with a marriage proposal during her Birthday Celebration.
A chance in a million: The eve before my proposal, while we were on our way home from Thanksgiving, we both witnessed a shooting star with our own eyes.
Having her in my life is a wonderful fate and a once-in-a-lifetime experience worth treasuring forever.
